Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has instructed that this year, Vietnam will export between 4.5-5 tonnes of rice.
However, according to a recent dispatch released by the PM, this volume would be adjusted by the end of the 2 nd quarter to take into account the rice production, price and market situation, using reports by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as the basis for any adjustments."
